Step back in time and experience the adventure of the frontier at our Pioneer Camporee! This exciting weekend of camping, challenges, and fun will take place on September 19 - 21 at Camp McConnell.

Gather your gear, don your pioneer attire, and get ready for an action-packed event filled with hands-on activities inspired by early American settlers. Test your skills in pioneering, fire-starting, archery, and frontier cooking. Compete against other patrols to show your mastery of pioneering skills.

Evenings will be filled with storytelling around the campfire, hearty cracker barrel, and a chance to connect with fellow campers while embracing the pioneer spirit. Whether you're a seasoned camper or new to the great outdoors, this event promises adventure, learning, and memories that will last a lifetime.

This event is open to Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Sea Scout Ships. Come ready to learn, explore, and enjoy the beauty of nature in true pioneer style!  Arrow of Light dens may be invited to attend as part of a Scouts BSA Troop.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

When you register, it will first ask for the number of male and female adult leaders (18 or older) so we can collect their names and contact info, after you enter your adults it will ask for the quantity of male and female youth, they do not need to be named.  Please remember that if you have a female youth registered you need at least one female adult that is 21 or older for supervision.  This is not a Family Scouting event, all adults must be registered members of Scouting America.
